Dr. Ravi Verma

Dr. Ravi Verma is an Associate Professor at the School of Biotechnology, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. He earned his Ph.D. from JNU and completed post-doctoral training at prominent global institutions, including Baylor College of Medicine (USA) and POSTECH (South Korea). Dr. Verma’s research focuses on Mucosal Immunology, Gut Microbiome Dynamics, and Cancer Genomics. His lab utilizes computational modeling, transcriptomics, and single-cell approaches to decode host-microbe interactions in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and gastrointestinal cancers, aiming to discover novel therapeutic targets and non-invasive diagnostic biomarkers. He holds multiple international patents and has authored numerous high-impact publications in journals such as Science Immunology and Nature Communications.
